Happy Independence Day to all our American family and friends!

We are finally starting to settle into our new home for the next 5 months.
It is nice when things come together.

While passing through West Virginia we stopped at the New River Gorge and this time we decided to do the bridge walk.

Arrived to Bear Mountain park in WV for a few days. So nice being in the forest. 🌳
Looking forward to checking out New River Gorge NP this weekend.

A few nights stay on the peaceful little town of Mayberry NC.

Spending a few days at one of our favorite RV Resorts, Creekfire.
The Resort not only has a heated pools and jacuzzi, it also has a lazy river ride.
Even Hudson is enjoying the resort; however, he'd be much happier if he were allowed in the pool.

Had a great breakfast at Georgies Diner in St. Augustine before visiting the Spanish Military Hospital.

Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States and a major historic site in St. Augustine, Florida. It was built by the Spanish beginning in 1672 to defend their claims and the Atlantic coast, and it later became a U.S. National Monument
The fort is made of coquina, a shell-based stone that helped it resist cannon fire and fire damage.
The Castillo was attacked several times, including a major siege in 1702, but it was never taken by force. It later served various military roles before being preserved by the United States and restored to its Spanish name in 1942

A great spot to stop for a couple of days. Tomorrow we'll go into St. Augustine (America's oldest city)
