Thank you to everyone who helped make the Craft Sale and Quilt Silent Auction a huge success. Special shoutout to the army of volunteers who came out to help set up and hang the quilts.

What do you call these? They are Whoopie pies where I come from, but I have been told that in other parts of the country they are moon pies, devil dogs, or gobs. Today I learned that Whoopie pies in Pennsylvania are filled with marshmallow, but gobs are filled with frosting. These are filled with buttercream.

Finally willing to part with this one. From the Jen Kingwell pattern “Georgetown On My Mind”, this 76” square quilt can be used on a full or queen bed without a pillow tuck. It is fussy cut, hand pieced, and hand and free motion machine quilted, representing about 100 hour of labor. Starting bid is $300.

Now taking orders for regular and gluten free Whoopie pies to be picked up at the Holiday Craft sale and Quilt Silent Auction on November 15th. Also taking orders for cranberry orange scones (regular and GF), banana, zucchini, and pumpkin breads, and pumpkin rolls. Additional selections will be available while supplies last.

This week’s project was our newest product: turtle foot mops. Hang one over your oven door handle to drop on a spill and wipe up with your foot.

Brought the sewing kits up to MFI yesterday. Many thanks to those who helped with shipping expenses and sponsorship. It could be awhile before they get to Haiti, but the first leg of the journey is underway.
