Pretty Fish Day!
Today we have a Copperband Butterfly Fish ( Chelmon rostratus ). This fish was so pretty and had a cool story we had to share! This fish has thyroid follicular hyperplasia, that was chronic, focal and severe. A ventral coelomic wall mass and thyroid follicular carcinoma.

Cytology Friday!
This is a cytology from a 3 y/o intact male French Bulldog . Two cutaneous sites were aspirated and show marked pyogranulomatous to mixed inflammation with occasional spindle cells and low to moderate numbers of microfilarial organisms. I recommended HW testing to see if these could be Dirofilaria immitus larvae or histopathology to see if the morphologic features could be better assessed that way.
