GREAT NEWS out of Florida! A mom in Tampa filed a pro-se appeal (Petition for Writ of Certiorari) with the 2nd DCA, challenging the trial court's order denying her motion to lift the no contact order against her sons and sua sponte ordering that they be evaluated for their ability to protect themselves.

Today, in a strongly worded opinion, and the FIRST written opinion in a DCF case this year, the Court granted the mother's petition and quashed the trial court's order.

This is the FIRST written opinion on a DCF case out of the 2nd DCA this year.
