A custom boat doesn't suddenly become a boat. It happens one piece at a time.

Work continues on our new 27' cold-molded center console, and we're now fabricating the deck and forward casting platform.

The jigs for the console, leaning post and forward bench seating have been built, along with the livewell and transom closeout.

Soon comes one of the exciting parts, bringing all of these individually fabricated components together and fitting them into the boat.

This is the part of custom boatbuilding most people never get to see.
The structure. The planning. The fabrication. And all the work that happens long before the finished product ever touches the water.

Another extremely happy customer headed back to Palm City.

This 2019 Nor-Tech came to Highground Boatworks for multiple stress crack, fairing and paint repairs, but when you're working on a boat of this caliber, getting the big things right is only part of the job.

We also installed VHF electric antennas, completed detailed caulking around the console, leaning post and decks, added the new name, and finished everything off with a polish.

The result speaks for itself.
