Huge shoutout to the Education Foundation of Martin County for making our Flocabulary grant possible!

This incredible resource has truly brought learning to life for our students, especially our ELL learners, by keeping them engaged, excited, and motivated while building academic skills.

We are proud to share that every student utilizing Flocabulary showed academic growth, with many students increasing a level on PM assessments and/or demonstrating proficiency on EOCs and benchmarks.

Seeing our Ducks engaged, learning, and gaining confidence in the classroom has been amazing to watch. Thank you for investing in our students and helping create meaningful learning experiences that make a lasting impact at Willoughby Learning Center!

Watching our Ducks soar today at the Willoughby Learning Center Promotion Ceremony was a reminder of just how far our students have come. From challenges to achievements, each student has shown resilience, growth, and determination every step of the way.

Today we celebrated more than promotion we celebrated perseverance, hard work, and bright futures ahead. We are so proud of each and every one of our Ducks and cannot wait to see where life takes them next.

Once a Duck, always a Duck.

πŸ’š Today our WLC staff proudly wore GREEN in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month! πŸ’š

Today was also a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate our amazing School Social Services Workers for the care, compassion, and support they provide to our students and families every single day.

At Willoughby Learning Center, we believe mental health matters and that even small acts of kindness can make a BIG impact. Thank you to our staff for showing their support and helping us continue to build a positive, caring, and supportive school community.
