There was a season where I got really quiet on here.
Part of it was life, part of it was needing space to figure some things out for myself.
About 3.5 years ago, I took a huge leap and became my own boss. Somewhere along the way I realized I didn’t just want to ‘do hair’, I wanted to create work that felt thoughtful and completely tailored to the person sitting in my chair.
For the last year (ish 😅) that I wasn’t showing up on social media, I was pouring as much as possible back into my craft. I’ve been refining my extension work, improving the client experience, researching product lines, and obsessing over the tiny details that make beautiful hair look truly natural and easy to wear.
A lot of those quiet months were spent perfecting the kind of custom extensions I wanted to become known for: soft blends, healthier weft extensions, lightweight k-tip extensions, and hair that moves and feels like your own.
Looking back now, I can see disappearing for a while was a necessary part of my growth, both personally and professionally.
There’s an alternate version of me that never took the risk- never opened the salon, never bet on herself, never pushed herself creatively, never let herself get comfortable with being uncomfortable— and none of this joy would exist there.
Whether you’re new around here or have been supporting me for a while now, thanks for being along for the ride. 🤍
Unfortunately for everyone involved, I’ll never be effortlessly cool or mysterious.
I will continue cackling over books, dancing while doing chores, and finding joy in aggressively mundane things.
This is what healing looks like…probably. 🤷♀️

This one took me out of my comfort zone and I’m here for it. 👏
It’s convenient to see a before and after and think it didn’t take long in real life- buuuut it’s almost always the opposite. This look took a total of almost 6 hours to create with color and extensions.
