As part of its promotional campaign for Lady of the Tramp in 1955, partnered with the American Dairy Association to produce an advertorial comic that extolled the virtues of butter. The crisp illustrations in this particular comic pamphlet show the titular dogs helping Lady’s owner, Jane, discover how butter can improve her cooking and impress Aunt Sarah.

A new addition to the store -- and just in time for football season!

Life Magazine has long been considered one of the most iconic publications in the United States, and was originally published as a weekly from 1883 to 1972.

This original issue, published on October 24, 1930, is a great example of what Life was like in the period before the publication adopted its iconic red-and-white logo and photo-focused front covers.

The cover art of this issue showcases an aerial view of a football game and stadium by artist Russell Paterson. The back cover showcases a football-themed Chesterfield ci******es ad.

Many Life issues from the 1920s and 1930s also featured whimsical stories and fun cartoons. This example offers an intimate snapshot of life during the early years of the Great Depression, with varied articles and cartoons that have come to define the look and style of Life's early years.
