He is up to date on shots and neutered. He has now been diagnosed with diabetes at the same time his owner has been diagnosed with a life changing illness. She cannot manage caring for him and herself so wants to find him a loving home. He likes other dogs but is reactive on a leash so other dogs just require an introduction. It all started out of the love of a beagle. These were my girls. After Luca passed there were plenty of beagle girls to remind me of her. Luca was the driving force behind SARAH RESCUE. Rescue/transport/donate/foster/pray. It takes a village. 🥰

We finally have our consult appointment with our Ortho Doctor White for Darcy. It is July 9th. I can't manage her without a stroller and she has grown out of the one we had for her. This one is $300 but doesn't look like junk. It also looks easy to fold. Has anyone had any experience with a big strong dog and strollers. Thanks in advance. 🥰

Kevin and Juju were due for Chiro adjustments so that is what we did yesterday. It's about an hour ride each direction to Mill Plain Veterinary Hospital in Danbury so we just take our time. Kevin gets adjusted every 6 weeks and we switch Juju for Cheech every other time. Darcy comes solo as she is a handful. We are grateful we found this practice and they accommodate us. Dr Chris is knowledgeable and helps keep these dogs able to walk and live their best lives.

And even though we don’t rescue cats here doesn’t mean we can’t help them. I got a call from a lady who was helping her friend who is the owner of this cat River. He felt ill and was improperly, diagnosed and the medication they gave him made him sicker. By the time he was properly diagnosed, he was pretty ill and was told to euthanize him. 🫤 So, we were able to help his mom pay for the medication to make him well. She promised to keep us in the loop with his progress. Why not help people keep their pets? We like that idea 😊

Remembering a friend who would "gift" us with at home spa treatments with his mobile grooming truck. Steve (Jodi's husband) was an animal lover in every cell of his body and the dogs knew it. Rest in peace Steve, I know you got your pack up there in the clouds. 🥰
