ENERGY is an American punk rock band formed in 2006. ENERGY formed in February of 2006 in the town of Stoughton, Massachusetts.
Over the last decade, ENERGY’s signature style of somber, melancholy melodies and introspective lyrics combined with infectiously poppy hooks has truly cemented them as one of Boston’s most unique bands. Over the years, frontman Jason Tankerley (aka "Tank")’s vocal delivery has been compared to the likes of Davey Havok, Michale Graves, and Zoli Teglas while adding his own vast array of vocal influ

15 years ago today, we released our single "Secrets".
This was our first independent release after mutually parting ways with Bridge Nine Records.
The song is an outtake from the recording sessions of our 2010 EP "Walk Into The Fire"
It was omitted from the vinyl release solely because it wouldn't fit on the 7", and we felt that the other three tracks together made for a better all around release.
20 years ago today, played our very first show at the Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts.
We played the two songs from our MySpace demo, an early version of “Streetlights” with an alternate intro / slightly different arrangement, and a cover of Black Flag’s “Rise Above” to end the set.

Tonight at we will be celebrating 20 years of ENERGY by performing “Punch The Clock” & “Invasions Of The Mind” back to back, start to finish, in their entirety…something we’ve never done before.
