Engineering Landscape Architect

One of the area's Leading AEC Firms looking to bring on seasoned Landscape Architect with ideally minimum 4 years of landscape architectural design experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research project requirements
Develop conceptual sketches and visualizations
Perform drafting and presentation work for projects
Prepare and assemble construction documents
Be responsible for checking drawing format and dimension accuracy
Compose memos and other correspondence
Prioritize and coordinate tasks with other project team members
Prepare project cost estimates for materials, equipment and labor
QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

» Excellent visualization skills with digital media

» Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Rhino, and Microsoft Office.

» Knowledge of Land FX preferred.

» Strong creative design ability and an ability to artistically convey project design elements graphically

» Strong understanding of landscape construction, grading, irrigation and horticultural knowledge desired

» An ability to professionally and proactively communicate with clients and co-workers

» The desire to integrate with and learn related disciplines

» An ability to participate in collaborative project teams and coordinate deliverables

» Read, write and understand English at a level necessary to perform the duties of this position

Education

» Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture

» Landscape Architecture License

Experience

» 4-6 years of landscape architectural design experience

Acrobat. Strong communication with staff, clients, subconsultants, and agencies.
Tasks:
Under the direction of a professional Land Surveyor, perform or manage the performance of the
following tasks:
Research and plot record maps and deeds.
Research local survey control, where available.
Prepare boundary search drawings.
Evaluate boundary evidence and make boundary determinations.
Prepare legal descriptions and plats.
Prepare ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
Prepare parcel maps, final maps, records of survey, corner records, and legal plats.
Review, plot, and provide quality control of topographic survey drawings.
Prepare Tentative maps, site plans, and other survey exhibits.
Manage submittals of survey products to agencies and clients.
Manage and train office survey staff.
Prepare proposals and assist with RFP/RFQ responses.
Manage subconsultants.
Salary Range
$72k-$94K per Year – Negotiable upon experience- Sizable signing Bonus!
