Take a look at all the upcoming events and trainings, and sign up to participate.Â
Join us as we relax into an evening of a guided theology discussion while enjoying a cigar or pipe around a fire. All are welcome, bring a friend.
After the discussion, those who want to stay and cheer on the Eagles are welcomed to do so!
We will be meeting at a home in South Jersey so please register through link in comments to receive the address.
"'Who touched me?' Jesus asked his disciples.
In my mind, there is an audible record scratch sound right here. Everyone pauses and looks at Jesus. One of his followers (who may have invented the use of the Saviorâs name as a curse word here) says exasperatedly, âJesus! There are crowds of people pressing in on you and you ask who touched you?â
So, I may have used some artistic license on that part. You can read the passage for yourself though. But since Iâve taken some license, let me share a little more."
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,

HELP SET MORE TABLES!
There is an epidemic of loneliness is America. While there are plenty of things to point our fingers at as the cause, what are the solutions?
At The Table Philadelphia, we have been creating spaces of invitation and belonging throughout our cityâand we have the opportunity to do more!
In this video, Pastor Gino shares more about why and how we have found Brunch Church to be an antidote for some of the loneliness in our city and a hopeful way to see new communities of Jesus form. Watch this video to learn more and help us set more tables in our city.

"Today is Holy Saturday, the day when the body of Jesus lies in the borrowed tomb. The church often overlooks this day as it lies in the balance between the death of Friday and the life of Sunday. However, Holy Saturday is so significant for how we live our lives today. Itâs a day when God appears to be absent. It's a day where the merchants of fear and death have, once again, had their way. Business as usual: pain, grief, and loss."
"THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD: Even as we suffer the wounds and consequences of our sins in this life, Jesus suffers with us in solidarity; the righteous with the unrighteous. And He offers the consolations of paradise with him. Ask and you will receive."

Some good news for the first week of Lent:
Jesus is driven out into the wilderness, drawing the devil out there with Him. As we join Jesus in the wilderness, we find that in drawing the devil out with Him, Jesus has drawn the devil out of us too.

A story in five pictures. đđ
For the Table Philadelphia, we believe the church exists in three spaces, not just one. Itâs a whole way of life.
Tending to Godâs presence around the Lordâs Table, connecting with friends and neighbors around tables, and following Jesus in the ordinary things of life.
More than just a Sunday gathering: a gathered and scattered people centered around Jesus.
"In the Eucharist, the real presence of Jesus is made known, and through eucharistic-shaped mission, Christians extend awareness of Jesusâs presence in the world. How does tending to the presence of Christ around the table fuel and propel the mission of the Church at other tables? This is the idea that we will explore in this article."

Sunday Worship Gathering

"You have heard that it was said to those of ancient times, âYou shall not murder,â and âwhoever murders shall be liable to judgment.â But I say to you that if you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be liable to judgment, and if you insult a brother or sister, you will be liable to the council, and if you say, âYou fool,â you will be liable to the hell of fire." Matthew 5:21-22
We continue our series through the Sermon on the Mount this Sunday and will be discussing and discerning together. Join us at 10:30 am. 4115 Baltimore Avenue, Phila, PA.

When this happens in your gathering location, the church moves outside.
We had an issue with the fire alarm (all is safe but we couldnât gather). So, the church gathered in a local park for prayer and the Eucharist.
Thanks for adapting, Table Philly.
Upside Down: New Teaching Series
The Sermon on the Mount represents one of the most familiar sections of the entire New Testament. It contains such well-known sections as the Beatitudes, Love Your Enemies, the Lord's Prayer, and the Golden Rule, to name just a few. The sermon has been labeled the âRules for Christian Livingâ or the âEthics of the Kingdom.â Still others see the commands of the Sermon on the Mount impossible to follow, like an unattainable law to point us to our need for forgiveness. We are going to take some time together to discuss what the Sermon on the Mount says, why it matters, and how we might respond.
Beginning this Sunday, we will teach through the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). The series will extend through the remainder of Ordinary Time (now through December when Advent begins). Homilies will be offered in-person on 1st and 3rd Sundays and on video through our GroupMe app on 2nd and 4th Sundays. If you havenât joined our GroupMe, connect with us (link in bio).
Hope to see you this Sunday at 10:30 am.
