On the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, Tarleton State was honored to be part of a historic day of remembrance in Sainte-Mère-Église, France.
The Sound and the Fury marched through the same streets that became a symbol of liberation in 1944, sharing music and honoring the courage, sacrifice and legacy of the Allied forces who changed the course of history 💜🇺🇸🇫🇷

A special day for our Texans in Normandy 💜
The Sound and the Fury had the privilege of performing during a ceremony commemorating D-Day, joining Texans from our study abroad programs in paying tribute to the service members whose courage and sacrifice changed the course of history.
Thank you to the Deputy Mayor of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont for welcoming Tarleton State and allowing us to be part of this day of remembrance.
