After a scorching day of multiple ambushes, stalks and game planning this ole Warrior finally met his match. We were able to set up just on the edge of a food plot and happened to guess his exit plan as our Hunter slung his arrow true.….

This Combat Recovery trip was a little different as both Combat Veterans had suffered a tragic loss. Our team was in the blind with Joshua Hill when him and his wife lost their baby girl Felicity Kate weeks before she was due to be born. All we could do at that moment was cry with him knowing the pain he was going through. A year had passed as they continue to pick up the pieces and focus on their family. They reached out to our team wanting to honor her memory on the year anniversary by giving back to another Combat Veteran.

So the search for a Combat Veteran who wanted an opportunity to get their daughter in the outdoors led us to hear about how Ross Goodwin also suffered the loss of a daughter. We instantly knew God had put this opportunity in our paths and boy was it a great weekend for laughter, camaraderie, first animal and HEALING…….
