To celebrate America's 250th birthday, the Dick Smith Library is exhibiting Texas America 250. Featuring historically significant “Texas Treasures” from the state’s collections, Texas America250 encourages visitors to explore the rich and complex story of the Lone Star State over the past 250 years. From the era of Spanish missions to the innovations of the space race, Texas has played a vital role in shaping the nation’s landscape, culture, economy, and identity.

Don't forget to stop by the Dick Smith Library Commons today from 1:30-3:30 PM for our Magic: The Gathering Event! We'll have cards for you to build your own deck, a space for new players to learn the game, and tables for experienced players to face off against each other!
