Texan Therapeutic Riding

Calling all U.S. military veterans and their families!

Texan Therapeutic Riding at Tarleton State University is seeking participants for an 8-week research study exploring the benefits of working with horses. Participants will complete surveys, adaptive horsemanship lessons, interviews, and screening visits.

U.S. Veterans with a spouse or partner may participate, with the option to include up to two children ages 8 and older.

Compensation is available through gift cards for completed online surveys.

Summer Volunteer Training is here for Texan Therapeutic Riding!

Join us on June 5, 9, 10, or 11 to become a trained horse leader or sidewalker for our 6 to 8 week summer lesson program. To sign up, email [email protected] with your preferred training date. We look forward to welcoming new volunteers!
