New installed dryer exhaust system, look great. Not done by us, and unfortunately customer just moved in and is experiancing longer drying times.
Transition duct is not of proper rating, the venting pipe is constructed of thin aluminum resting on electrical wire, and the exterior vent is plastic, not connected, infact we used these types of vent in 2007, and quickly switched to the dryer wall vents in 2009 when they became available for obvious reason. We also took care of the interior of the dryer

Just a fire waiting to happen, the outlet to the dryer is right behind the dryer exhaust port, the exhaust port covered with a knicker/stocking/ladies pantyhose

Today's installation, to save the home owner time and materials, and the fact they had enough room in the laundry room. We installed this beautiful fire wrapped dryer exhaust system, Thru the ceiling and out the side of the home, we could've gone thru the roof as well, just more cost effective to go thru the side, either way the dryer exhauat system would've maxed out at 25' equivalent length. I love the dryer wall vent, so sleek and fits into the siding like a glove.

Todays inspection, unfortunatly consisted of a dryer vent that was installed with 40' of aluminum flex rigid pipe, more pictures on the rerouting from the laundry room, thru attic out the side of home.

Not a 5 star across the board, but still a satisfied customer.

Even the shortest Dryer Exhaust Systems could have problems. So besides the obvious (transition hose torn) the exterior exhaust vent does not close, allowing for animal pe*******on as well as additional back pressure for outside air flowing thru the exhaust system.

Got this one cleaned out 50' length, and filled a 13 gallon trash bag 3/4 full, there is moisture as well as improper construction material used to install this system.

Unfortunatly another improper roof termination vent, no mildew or mold on this one, homeowner caught it early
