Safety rules for social media accounts.

1. Register or update social media accounts with a non critical e-mail. Your ISP allows multiple e-mail accounts under your main account. Yahoo.com & Gmail.com & live.com offers free e-mail accounts as well.

2. Use passwords that is easy to recall. However, substitute numbers from some the letters in your password.

For example,

JamesBond => J@m3$B0nd

3210ChicagoRoad => 3210Ch1c@g0R0@d

ComputerSolutions => C0mput3rS0lut10n$

3. You can record the password some where without exact reference to its intent. I personally record my passwords under my name or entity name in my contacts list on my secure mobile device.

4. Allow your browser to remember passwords for non critical websites and Apps.

5. For better security, Use the non-critical e-mail for social media websites to access your social media account. Apps can be more intrusive than website interfaces.

6. Delete TikTok App from your Mobile Device. I recommend using website interface if you have to TikTok. The United States government has banned TikTok on governmental devices for a reason.

7. Do a search for yourself on social media platforms. You should not find two accounts with your profile picture. Accounts with no pictures and minimum information are curious.

8. Notify your friends if you are being re-friended.

9. Never allow anyone remote access your computer or your devices.

Always remember the your network, computers, and any device connected to the internet is under attack. I host websites, e-mail servers, and cloud services. I had a constant attack from various criminals on the internet to my servers. So, I blocked these silly rabbits. Don't mess with an expert. I am watching you.

A customer had a program on their computer for two years stealing their information. Now, they have canceled all their credit cards and blocked their banking account. The criminals have plenty of harvesting to do and they will finally get to you.
