funny story about 'HOLD ON' the year we released 'Witness To Our Collapse' things started to move quickly for us, and i had no idea that this song was quickly becoming a 'club hit' outside of the NJ/NYC area that surrounded us.

We had an oppertunity to play in San Francisco, and we arrived the night before. We attended the first night of the anniversary party and while in conversation with he had casually asked if we were playing 'HOLD ON'...truth is at that point I had taken it out of the set for high profile shows becuse I wasn't super confident in my voice yet. So I said 'no'.

He said 'well thats going to be a problem, you HAVE to play it. It's a hit here and its why people are coming to see you'

We had already moved to live drums at that point and our drummer at the time had never rehearsed the song on a live kit, and i never created a backing track specifically for live drums (meaning id take all the programmed drums off)

Nonetheless, we had to play it. Tom said he can do it and we played it in the set the next day without any rehearsal and with no click and double the drums.

And we've been playing it since.

I am privileged and honored to have at least one memorable song in the cultural lexicon of this scene, and the first album propelled me to have the ability to keep playing for all you wonderful people for the next 20 years after. It's something I'll always be thankful for, and will never take for granted. Next year I plan to begin work on an anniversary release to commemorate that record. But first, a new album.

The devil is in jersey city and so are we. Rehearsal 2 for

3 months of breathing fresh air and touching grass was nice, a blizzard or two in between was not. I plan on remaining a ghost here but, if you want to enjoy real life come see us at in May. Currently, We're shaking off the dust and adding some new jams.
