Please sign this petition and share. We’re calling on you to oppose H.R. 9495, a dangerous bill that threatens the tax-exempt status of nonprofits working in advocacy and freedom of speech. Here’s why this matters:
🚫 Unnecessary Legislation: Laws already exist to prevent nonprofit support of foreign terrorist groups.
🚫 Discriminatory Impact: This bill could be used to target groups working with Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities, reinforcing harmful stereotypes and further marginalizing these communities.
🚫 Political Exploitation Risk: It opens the door to political targeting of nonprofits.
🚫 Burden of Proof on Nonprofits: It unfairly puts vulnerable organizations at risk.
