Sometimes a routine day contains profound joy. Recently, I spent the day in Park Forest, documenting the design work and craftsmenship of State College Design and Construction. The time was filled with lovely moments, and I wished I could bottle up the joy I felt and save it for another day. Hearing the designer and homeowner review the process and outcome. Capturing the result of hours of planning, ex*****on and skill was such a joy. I treasure these moments. Some days are quick fire days and then there are days like this one. What’s your workday preference… slow and simple or busy and exciting?

May I make a confession? It’s not always easy for me to step away from a project, during busy work seasons... but I’m making an effort to work smarter instead of harder. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always feel better when I get outside in the sunshine, so that’s something I try not to miss. I also like to tackle my big to do's before the sun rises. This allows me to make forward progress on my goals. But early on a Saturday or Sunday morning...that's when I get to spend time with my hubby exploring all the beautiful spaces in our community. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
