🌏 The APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration showcasing diverse traditions—bringing the community.

✨ A key highlight: One of our community members joined us offering their services. This is exactly the vision for our upcoming summer events—empowering our community’s talents to participate, grow, and gain exposure to 900+ visitors!

🌟 Huge News for the One Hand Foundation Family! 🌟

We are proud to share that our President and Co-founder, Professor Wael Jabr, has been honored with the prestigious Barash Award for Human Service! 🏆

Since 1975, this award has recognized those at Penn State who go above and beyond their daily jobs to serve human causes and the welfare of others. Anyone who knows Wael knows that his heart is 100% dedicated to our community.

For more than 25 years, Wael has been actively engaged in humanitarian efforts both locally and internationally.

From his leadership here at One Hand to his work across State College, Wael embodies the spirit of service.

What guiding philosophy shapes who we are?

Thanks to our 20+ amazing volunteers who helped receive, pack, and distribute 55 food boxes today! 🌟
Special appreciation to the Arab Youth Society and all the wonderful community members who showed up to help.

Each box included fresh produce, dairy & eggs, staples, canned vegetables, canned fruit, plus snacks and a seasoning. 🍎🥚🥫

One Hand Foundation and Penn State College of Medicine are bringing the Lion Mobile Clinic for free flu shots & wellness checks to the Islamic Society of Central PA.
