It’s almost Finals Week! We are going to have extra open hours and we’d love to have you stop by!

Hi everyone! I’m Hannah (May) Ciavarella and I’m currently the social media intern at Abba Java! I’ve been interning since last fall and I’ve gotten to know Abba Java through my collaborations here through clubs Im involved in. I have absolutely loved getting to work with the other interns and volunteering at Abba Java is the highlight of my week. To me, it’s all about the way small things can have a big impact and I love being a part of that. When I graduate, I’d love to pursue a career in social media and move back to my home state (shoutout Cali!) I’m so excited to continue my work at Abba Java!

Meet Rhyleigh, one of our talented student interns! Rhyleigh is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a minor in HDFS. She has worked with Abba Java for one and a half years, and she is our amazing Coffeehouse Student Intern. After she graduates, she plans to become a certified child life specialist.

We had the chance to speak with Felicia Boeun from PSU Kaxom to ask her what Abba Java means to them!

Whether I’m participating in cooking collaborations, study sessions, or soup dinners, Abba Java has always felt like a place where people truly belong. I’m so grateful to have a space like Abba Java that not only serves great replenishments, but also fosters connection, collaboration, and care within our community.“
