Mississippi State University Student Chapter of The American Society for Microbiology
MSU-ASM is the first student-run chapter of ASM in the South Central Branch. MSU-ASM meets bi-monthly to discuss upcoming events, socialize and present research and research opportunities. MSU-ASM also participates in several special events throughout campus as well as volunteering in the campus and local community.

Check it out! MSU-ASM had the honor of meeting Dr. Racaniello last fall. He's currently doing some really cool work on Zika virus!
Counting Zika Virus Counting Zika virus, finding cells that can be infected with the virus and how to measure the amount of virus made.
