I’m writing this with a heavy heart.

I broke myself again, and this time l'Il have to heal a big parts of me, which is my knee. From the moment I felt something wasn’t right in my knee, everything stopped for a second. Those who live football know how hard it is to accept that, for a while, you won’t be able to do what you love the most.

Unfortunately, due to this injury, I will be off the field for some time. It hasn’t been easy, the mind gets full, the heart aches, and there are moments you just want to break down. But behind every play there are dreams, sacrifices, and a deep love for this sport.

Football, like life, is full of challenges, and this is one I will face with strength, faith, and determination.

This is not the end, just part of the journey. And I will continue to trust in God's plan. His timing never fails. Now it’s time to focus on my recovery, trust the process, and come back stronger.

C’est une grande première pour le football féminin haïtien !
La défenseure internationale Ruthny Mathurin s’engage avec Alhama CF, club évoluant en première division féminine espagnole (D1). Une étape majeure et symbolique dans la carrière de cette joueuse au parcours inspirant.

Née et formée en Haïti, Ruthny Mathurin a dû franchir de nombreux étages . De Respire jusqu’au Ranch de la Croix-des-Bouquets, elle a tracé son chemin avec détermination avant de s’imposer comme joueuse de Tigress FC, club avec lequel elle s’est révélée au grand public.
Parallèlement à sa carrière sportive, elle a également obtenu un diplôme universitaire à l’Université Louissina, preuve d’un parcours exemplaire sur et en dehors du terrain.

Après un court passage au Portugal, la Grenadière franchit aujourd’hui un cap décisif en rejoignant l’élite du football espagnol, l’un des championnats les plus compétitifs au monde.

Internationale haïtienne à fais toutes les catégories (U17, U20 et Séniors), Ruthny Mathurin a déjà marqué l’histoire en participant à deux Coupes du monde avec Haïti :
• Coupe du monde U20 en 2018
• Coupe du monde senior en 2023

Une trajectoire impressionnante qui fait la fierté de tout un peuple et ouvre la voie à la nouvelle génération de footballeuses haïtiennes.
