Today, our students had the privilege of hearing from Mallory Hemphill, an accomplished Mississippi State alumni who discussed the field of healthcare marketing. Mallory is the Vice President of Marketing at Wound Management Specialists, where she leads strategic marketing initiatives to expand patient access, strengthen community engagement, and drive organizational growth across a rapidly evolving healthcare network.

Her work has been recognized across the region, earning her numerous honors such as Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 (2023), Rankin County Best of the Best Top 40 Under 40 (2022), and recognition as a 2025 Goodwill Salute Honoree.

In addition to her professional achievements, Mallory is deeply engaged in community and professional leadership, serving on boards such as the Junior League of Jackson and the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce while actively contributing to organizations like Make-A-Wish Mississippi. A member of the American Marketing Association, she is widely recognized for her strategic vision, leadership, and commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes—positioning her as a dynamic and influential leader in healthcare marketing.

On Friday, our MBA students had the opportunity to visit Howard Industries in Ellisville, MS! 🐾

As we kick off the summer semester, the professional development and networking opportunities have started rolling in! From manufacturing facility tours, a networking lunch, and a corporate tour, we are so thankful for Howard Industries for the amazing visit!

Our last is for our Program Director, Angelia Knight. From creating professional workshops for students stepping into their first real-world experiences to revising curriculum, supporting online learners, and mentoring new staff, she is always finding ways to help our program grow! What stands out most is her heart for students and her willingness to keep learning and evolving right alongside them. We are so thankful for everything she pours into our MBA community each day!
