February 17th, 2022 luncheon with Mike Snider.

Always a good time visiting and of course… Good FOOD! Mike Snider provided details of the Haiti Mission. Thanks to all that attended and helped to make our Cornerstone Luncheon a success.

We are excited about our upcoming Cornerstone event! Mark your calendars for Feb 17, 11:30 in the Madison Street Baptist Church gym.

We will be hearing from Mike Snider about his work at Cabaret Haiti Mission in Haiti. Come and be blessed by what is being accomplished in Haiti to further the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We are having covered dish so bring an entrée, side and/or dessert. Also, be prepared for the love offering that will be collected in support of the Haiti Mission.

Our Fish Fry was awesome. We had 73 attendees, lots of yummy food and live music. Thank you to all that attended and of course, music provided by the band, “Victorious in the Blood.” A big thank you to the volunteers that set up the luncheon, cooked and served, and cleaned up after. Also thank you to our church staff that supports Cornerstone. Our next event will be in 2022. Can you believe this year is almost over? Hi there!

First thing, , I want to just say how much I miss seeing all of you, talking to you and hugging! I am a hugger so this is torture, but with this crazy virus out there it’ll just have to wait.

I hope all of you are taking all the advised precautions to keep yourselves safe and doing everything you can to protect yourself. Once this is all over and it is safe to do so, we will begin planning again. I will keep you posted as to our May 7 Luncheon when time draws a little closer.

Until that time, wash your hands often, don't touch your face, stay 6 feet away from anyone else, avoid being in large crowds and of course, PRAY!

Our Cornerstone group met Feb 13th, 2020 for a Valentines luncheon. Food provided by 35 attendees. Good time for fellowship and a singalong. Julia Ripplinger played the keyboards and Carol Milner led the singing. Carol made it fun by providing details of song histories. Tish Bryant was the MC and announced their new Cornerstone team member, James Pitman. Nita Jo Varnes provided table decorations and excellent organizational skills.
