WE NEED FOSTER HOMES!! We currently some families who are taking a little break from fostering, but we still have dogs to bring into the rescue. We would LOVE to add some new foster homes to our team!! Interested? On the fence? Contact us and let’s chat.

Fostering is a one-of-a-kind experience, and we do everything we can to make it a positive experience for you. MLBR provides crates, bedding, leash, collar, dog food, and covers all approved medical care. Your job? To provide a safe and loving home for a Boxer who is trying to find their forever home and family.

Brian has been waiting for such a long time to find his forever home and family, and it breaks our hearts that it just hasn’t happened for him yet. One of our awesome supporters has also been touched by the fact that he’s still waiting, and she decided to donate his adoption fee so that his future family won’t have to worry about that. Do you remember Artemis and Astraea, from the Cali6 litter of puppies?!? We bet you do! Well, we received a wonderful update on these two from their family by way of their foster mom, Jennifer.

As you know, they were adopted together into the same forever home, and they are THRIVING! Artie is now a whopping 91 pounds and Yaya is 61 pounds. They have a fully fenced 1-acre yard, their own pool, and a family who loves them to pieces! 🥰

Jennifer says that this is the stuff that makes her heart burst and moments like these also make every bit of rescue work worth it. 💛🐾💛 We couldn’t agree more!

***A New Beginning***

We sure love repeat adopter stories and that’s what we have to share with you today. When Gina and Paul were ready for another Boxer, they knew exactly who to come to! We were thrilled that we could help them find the next canine addition to their family and when Milo arrived on the scene, we had a hunch he was the one. Here’s what Gina shared with us on how this adoption came to be…

“Boxers have owned me for 28 years! Last fall we lost our sweet MLBR alumni, Toby, to cancer. Our hearts were broken. We knew Mia needed a buddy, so I reached out to MLBR Founder, Holly. We wanted a pup close to Mia's age because she is only a year old and high energy! After a few weeks, Holly called and said she thought she had the "perfect" boy for our family. After speaking to Milo's previous family, we agreed to do a Foster-to-Adopt, which is like a test drive. 😁 It was love at first sight for Mia and Milo…and us!

After only a few days I called Holly and said Milo isn't going anywhere, that he's home! ❤️ He and Mia really are perfect for each other, and we couldn't have a better duo than these two! Thank you MLBR for all that you do for Boxers in need.” 🐾❤️🐾

Paul and Gina, and especially Mia, we thank you so much for welcoming Milo into your hearts and home. He’s a lucky boy to be part of a long-time Boxer family! We sure hope to get some photos and updates now and then about how Milo is doing. Have fun! Congratulations!
