One of my fav girls ever 🫶🏼 we haven’t done her hair since her wedding, and now she’s expecting a sweet baby boy 😭💙 one of my favorite things about my job is getting to see my clients who become friends, go through life and all the exciting things life throws at them. We did a full blonding service and a big chop 💗

One of my goals for myself in 2023 was to stop asking myself what other people would think. And to stop caring. Life is so dang short and if I had a dollar for every time a client sat in my chair and said “I’ve always wanted to go dark but my boyfriend likes me better blonde” I’d be rich rich 🤑 guess what.. I do the SAME damn thing! If you don’t do it now you’ll always wonder what could of been, with anything in life, not just hair color. You know what I think makes someone beautiful? Nope not their hair color. But someone who is just so authentically them and does things for no one else but themselves. Who does what they want, because they like it. That’s when the confidence comes out and people shine! So that’s a little something that I’m going to work on this year. And of course the first step I’m taking myself is a change of hair color 🤭 stay tuned for that!

Anywho this hair color is so out of my comfort zone and something I’ve never done before. Not going to lie when she showed me an inspo pic I almost had to run down the street to grab a margarita for some liquid courage 🤪 but I also was so dang excited! Sometimes us stylist get in a groove of just doing blondes some weeks or just brunettes so this was SO much fun. So far in 2023 I’ve done colorblocking and I’ve mastered the wolf haircut… 2022 me wouldn’t believe it. This sweet 1st time client of mine said her previous stylist said she could never get to the blonde she wanted. She would only ever lift to orange. And with how dark her hair is naturally I get why they would say that. I use to be the queen of getting nervous with bleach on the hair for too long and would rinse after 2 seconds. So with that knowledge I took super fine sections and went to workkkk. How freaking fun is she?! I love how she did this for HER and no one else 😍🫶🏼 plus she could literally pull of ANY hair color!!

Big exciting news coming your way ⚡️ starting February 1st your appointment will now be at Glow Co salon & studios 🫶🏼 So bittersweet, while I am super excited for this new chapter, I am forever grateful for eastside salon and all the amazing stylist I’ve grown to know over the last 3 years. And to Gena, I’m forever grateful for you and all you’ve done for me. I love you all and will always have a special place in my heart for eastside. That being said, I could not be more excited for all that’s to come in my new home at Glow Co! So honored to become a part of the Glow Co fam and to create some bomb hair ✨

My girl here is a twice a year full foil + a solid haircut 🫶🏼 she’s one of my favs and as a bonus her hair lifts like an absolute dream and does exactly what you want it to 🤩 SO eager to get back behind the chair and create some magic! A day spent doing my sistas hair 💗 you’d think that me being a hairstylist everyone in my family’s hair would be done all the time… but between the two of us both having babies this past year and just mom life in general I haven’t done my sisters hair in a YEAR!! It was long overdue and I forgot just how much I love working with her hair 🤤 she has naturally ringlet curls, but whenever she straightens it it feels like butter 🙌🏼
