PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE SHOCKED BY THE ONES WHO WALK AWAY IN THIS HOUR.

I hear the Spirit saying, “Many, many will walk away.”

There is a sifting coming.

There is a refining fire being turned up, and when the heat increases, the dross comes to the surface.

God is not turning up the fire to destroy what is genuine.

He is turning up the fire to reveal what has been mixed in.

Malachi 3:2-3 says that He is like a refiner’s fire and that He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.

The refiner does not put the silver into the fire because he hates it.

He puts it into the fire because he intends to purify it.

And there is a purification taking place in the house of God.

Some things that have been hidden beneath titles, platforms, reputations, gifting, influence, and religious language are going to be brought to the surface.

And what shocks people will not simply be who stays.

It will be who leaves.

There are people who have carried titles who will discover that they loved the title more than the cross.

There are people who have stood behind pulpits who will discover that they cannot stand under the weight of consecration.

There are people who have been celebrated by men who will struggle when God begins demanding what men never demanded.

Because there is a difference between being willing to be used by God and being willing to be crucified with Christ.

Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).

The cross was never presented as convenient.

And when the cost of discipleship becomes greater than the benefit of association, the true foundation will be revealed.

I see a house of cards standing tall, impressive from a distance, carefully constructed, seemingly stable.

But then the wind of heaven begins to blow.

And suddenly, what looked strong collapses.

Not because the wind was too powerful, but because the foundation was never strong enough to withstand it.

Jesus warned us about the man who hears His sayings and does them and compared him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

When the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew, that house stood because it had a foundation.

The storm did not create the foundation.

The storm revealed it.

There are winds coming that will reveal what has actually been built on Christ.

The shaking will expose the sand.
The fire will expose the dross.
The wind will expose the foundation.

And the pressure will reveal the heart.

Some will say, “This is too much.”

Some will say, “The cost is too high.”

Some will turn back because they wanted the glory without the suffering, the platform without the pruning, the anointing without the altar, the crown without the cross.

And Jesus already told us this would happen.

In John 6, many of His disciples turned back when His words became difficult.

Not everyone who starts the journey finishes it.

Not everyone who shouts in the crowd will remain when obedience becomes costly.

Not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” has surrendered everything to Him.

And church, we cannot build our confidence on numbers, titles, crowds, visibility, or who is standing beside us.

We must build on the Rock.

Because when everything that can be shaken is shaken, only what is established in Christ will remain.

Hebrews 12:27 says that the shaking takes place so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

So don't be shocked when some walk away.

Don't chase people who have decided the cross costs too much.

Don't compromise the standard of God's Word to keep people comfortable.

Don't lower the fire because someone doesn't like the heat.

Let God refine.
Let Him sift.
Let Him shake.
Let Him expose.
Let Him purify.

Because what remains after the shaking will not be built on personality.

It will not be built on position.
It will not be built on popularity.
It will be built on Jesus Christ.

And when the smoke clears, when the wind settles, when the dross has been removed and the shaking has finished, there will still be a people standing.

A people who counted the cost.

A people who refused to turn back.

A people who said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”

A people who would rather lose everything than lose His presence.

The fire is being turned up.
The sifting is coming.
The foundations are being tested.

And many will walk away.

But those who remain will be purified, established, and unshakable.

So, Church, build deep.
Dig down.
Get rooted.
Get consecrated.
Get oil in your vessel.

Because the wind is coming.

And when it blows, only what is built on the Rock will stand.
