Proud of this group and grateful for every step on the path.

Books, letters, and matcha lattes—what could be better?
This summer, our middle school students are participating in the Pen Pal Club, writing weekly letters and building connections through the power of storytelling and communication.
They're also joining our Latte Summer Book Club Series, where we'll read a new book each month, meet at a student-selected local café, discuss the book, and rate the café's matcha lattes to crown the summer champion! 🏆🍵
We're excited for a summer filled with reading, friendship, conversation, and lots of matcha reviews!

Domus' and Lily Villanueva recently attended a professional development session hosted by , the State Education Resource Center of Connecticut, on “Confronting Disparities in School Discipline for Black Girls.”
The session focused on challenging traditional perceptions of behavior that can contribute to exclusionary discipline practices for Black girls. We are grateful for opportunities like this to learn alongside educators across Connecticut and continue strengthening our work to support, advocate for, and empower young people.
