A cotton curtain is not the same as a polyester curtain. Cotton is susceptible to sun damage, so it fades quickly in bright sunlight. In the case of polyester, although it is more resistant, take into account that washing should be done with cold water.

3.- Use delicate detergents. It is important to avoid aggressive chemical products since they can break the fibers of the fabrics over time and cause discoloration or color transfer to other nearby fabrics, including your clothes.

4.- Wash your curtains with care. Avoid using towels or other rough fabrics to clean your curtains during washing, as this will cause them to tear.

5.- Be careful with ironing. Many people like to iron their curtains to make them look more elegant. If this is your case, always iron the curtains on the back side, never on top of the fabric.
