Happy New Year!
It's resolution time....
May I suggest cleaning out your pantry. Toss all of those expired spices ( yes spices expire and loose there flavor) and condiments and start the year off fresh. You may be shocked how much you throw out!

Miso Glazed Halibut
2- 6 oz. Halibut Filets (Sea Bass & Mahi Mahi works too!)
1/8 cup White Miso
1/8 cup Saki or White Wine
1/8 cup Mirin
1 Tbsp. Tamari (soy sauce)
1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil
1 tsp. Orange zest
- In a small bowl whisk all ingredients until smooth
- Coat both sides of fish and marinate for 20-30 minutes
- Set broiler on high and position a rack 6 inches below flame
- Place fish on a sheet pan lined with foil, broil for 7-8 minutes until nicely charred
- Serve over Brown Rice
