🐩☀️ POODLE PALOOZA SUMMER REUNION! ☀️🐩

Three years ago, sweet Dinah raised an adorable litter of puppies who all found amazing forever homes. While most dog moms never get the chance to see their babies again, Dinah is one lucky girl!

A few times each year, Dinah and her pups get together for a family play date, and this year's summer reunion was as adorable as ever. 💕

Now 3 years old, the puppies may be all grown up, but watching them run, play, and spend time together with their mom is something truly special. From tiny fluffballs to happy, healthy adults, it's incredible to see how far they've come and the wonderful lives they're living.

These reunions remind us why rescue is so rewarding—not only finding great homes, but building lifelong connections along the way.

Adopt Princess 👑 Penne!

This 6-year-old, 40 lb sweetheart is the total package — brains, beauty, and just the right amount of sass. Penne has settled beautifully into her foster home and has been busy learning all kinds of new skills. She’s an eager student who loves to make her people proud!

Penne is a classic bully girl who loves her people big time. She greets everyone she meets with a happy heart and zero hesitation — kids and adults alike are instant best friends in her book. If you’ve got affection to give, Penne is ready to soak it all up.

When it comes to fun, the flirt pole is her absolute favorite toy. She also loves foraging toys and snuffle mats that keep her clever brain busy. But don’t worry — she’s not destructive at all! Penne is respectful in the home and leaves her toys and bedding perfectly intact.

Princess Penne’s royal resume:

Her perfect day? A nice hike or outdoor adventure followed by curling up on the couch for some serious cuddle time. She’s just as happy chilling with her people as she is heading out to explore. She loves visits to Cabela's and Home Depot too!

Penne does have a high prey drive, so she’s looking for a home without cats or small animals. She also came from a past where she had some difficult encounters with other dogs, which made her fearful when she first arrived in foster care. With patience and training, she’s made wonderful progress and has learned to peacefully coexist during structured activities with a calm neutered male dog in the home.

That said, Penne would truly love to be your one and only princess, soaking up all the love and attention. However, she may be able to live with a relaxed, dog-savvy neutered male with a very slow, thoughtful introduction.

🐾 FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOMES NEEDED STARTING THIS SATURDAY! 🐾

Two of our adorable Aussie/Poodle mix puppies (Thomas & Dan) still need foster or foster-to-adopt homes ready to welcome them on 6/13! ❤️

These fluffy little cuties are everything you would expect from a puppy—sweet, playful, curious, and full of energy. They love people, enjoy exploring the world around them, and are looking for families ready to help them learn all the important puppy things.

Before applying, please remember:

🐶 Puppies are adorable... and a lot of work!
🐶 They are not housebroken.
🐶 They will need crate training, leash training, and basic manners.
🐶 They chew, have accidents, wake up early, and sometimes make questionable life choices.
🐶 They require patience, consistency, supervision, and lots of love.

In return, you'll get plenty of puppy kisses, laughs, cuddles, and the opportunity to help shape a wonderful dog's future!

We are looking for loving families who understand the commitment involved in raising a young puppy and are prepared for all the fun (and chaos!) that comes with it.

💔 Ty Needs a New Foster... Again 💔

Our hearts are breaking for this sweet boy. Through absolutely no fault of his own, Ty is being uprooted yet again. His current foster has decided that the situation is no longer working out, leaving Ty in need of a new foster or foster-to-adopt family immediately.

Every time Ty starts to settle in, build trust, and feel safe, his world gets turned upside down. We desperately want to find him a stable landing spot where he can finally relax and just be a dog.

One of the hardest parts of rescue is that there are so many unknowns. Foster families often take in a dog with certain expectations, but the reality is that we can never predict the future. We don't know exactly how long a dog will take to get adopted, how they will adjust to a particular environment, or what challenges and successes may arise along the way. Rescue is a journey, and sometimes circumstances change. While we are grateful for every foster who opens their home, unfortunately those changes can mean a dog like Ty finds himself needing to start over yet again.

Ty is an estimated 3-4 year old purebred Standard Poodle weighing about 60 pounds. He is truly one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He adores people, quickly becomes everyone's best friend, and thrives on companionship and being included as part of the family.

✅ Fully housebroken
✅ Crate trained (although he doesn't need one when left alone)
✅ Non-destructive in the home
✅ Sleeps through the night
✅ Friendly, affectionate, and eager to please
✅ Loves long walks and spending time with his people

Ty enjoys having a routine and would love an active family that can provide him with structured exercise and lots of companionship. He would likely do well with children ages 8 and up.

Like many dogs, Ty isn't perfect. He could benefit from continued work on basic commands and leash manners, occasionally likes to see what's available on the kitchen counters. He will need regular professional grooming every 4-6 weeks, and was amazing during his recent spa appointment!

Ty is still learning how to interact appropriately with new dogs, so slow introductions and proper management will be important. He is curious, but guarded. We know he has the potential to come out of his shell and make friends, as he has lived with dogs in the past. We are currently seeking a home without cats. A fenced yard is preferred.

Most of all, Ty needs someone willing to give him a chance. He has so much love to give and deserves a family committed to helping him finally find the stability he's been missing. He's not losing his foster home because he's a bad dog. In fact, he's quite the opposite. Sometimes rescue simply doesn't go exactly as planned, and the dogs are the ones who pay the price.

Please share far and wide. We have ONE WEEK to find a spot for Ty, and want to avoid having to move him yet again without a plan in place, which would result in him going to our vet for boarding.

🐰❤️ Bunny Update! ❤️🐰

We have some exciting news to share—Bunny had her 8-week post-op recheck, and her surgeon is very happy with how everything is healing!

After weeks of rest and restricted activity, Bunny has officially been cleared to slowly return to normal life over the next 3 weeks. We'll be taking things gradually to make sure her recovery continues to stay on track, but Bunny is more than ready for this next chapter. She can't wait to run, play, and enjoy being a carefree pup again!

Despite her restrictions, Bunny has been keeping busy. She's got plenty of energy, has become quite the power chewer of Benebones, and has been working hard with her foster mom and our trainer on leash manners and managing her excitement. She's a smart girl who is making great progress every day!

Training sessions will continue as she transitions back to normal activity, and before long, Bunny will be ready to start her search for a forever family of her very own.

Thank you to everyone who has followed Bunny's recovery journey, donated and cheered her on along the way. Stay tuned for more updates over the next few weeks as she says goodbye to restrictions and gets back to being a happy, active pup! 🐾💕

Our amazing PPR staff member and foster mom, Whitney, has been pouring her heart into raising these adorable girls, Solei (blonde) and Suvi (red), and somehow they are STILL getting overlooked! 💔

Today, we'd love to wish Whitney the happiest birthday and thank her for everything she does for Project Precious Rescue. From caring for foster pets to helping countless animals find their forever homes, her dedication never goes unnoticed. ❤️

Solei and Suvi are approximately 4-month-old Pit Bull/Malinois mixes with incredible personalities. Don't let the breed mix intimidate you—Whitney says they are sweet, affectionate, smart, and so much fun!

These girls are active, athletic puppies who would thrive with families that enjoy training, adventures, and keeping busy. They'd be a fantastic match for homes with experience with working breeds, shepherds, bully breeds, or other active dogs. They absolutely love playing with other dogs and would do great with a playful canine companion.

✨ Solei is the more thoughtful sister. She's a little reserved at first, loves encouragement and praise, and is always ready for snuggles once playtime is over.

✨ Suvi is fearless, outgoing, and convinced she's part kangaroo. She loves running with the big dogs and may have a future career in parkour!

Both girls are smart, loving, and ready to become amazing family companions with the right guidance, training, and commitment.

🐾 ADOPT MOOSE 🐾

Meet Moose, a handsome white and tan Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a hopeful spirit. At approximately 2 years old and 18 pounds, Moose is looking for a patient, loving family to help him write the next chapter of his story.

Moose's journey hasn't been an easy one. He was found abandoned, his coat so severely matted that it was tangled down to his skin. It was clear he had been neglected and left without the care every dog deserves. Despite everything he's been through, Moose has remained remarkably sweet, trusting, and ready to love again.

This happy, friendly little guy enjoys meeting people and does well with other well-mannered dogs. He also gets along with cats and would much rather be their friend than chase them. While he'd enjoy having a canine companion, he's equally happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only pup.

Moose is potty trained, loves daily walks, and can often be found carrying around a squeaky toy. He's incredibly food motivated and already learning basic commands like "sit"—proof that he's a smart cookie who enjoys learning. When the day is done, Moose's favorite place is right beside you on the couch, where he'll gently nudge you for more pets if you dare stop too soon.

He sleeps quietly in a pen overnight and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. Moose does, however, need a home committed to continuing his training, particularly when it comes to managing some mild resource guarding. Because of this, he is looking for an adult-only home where his family can provide consistency, patience, and understanding as he continues to work through the effects of his past and learn that he is finally safe.

Underneath it all is a loving, loyal dog who simply wants a family of his own. Moose has so much love to give and is searching for a gentle, compassionate home that will give him the patience, security, and affection he has always deserved.
