Stuff I love doing.
Spark plug and Ignition coil change on a B46 BMW engine.
Aftermarket Dinan coils supposedly is better than stock BMW Eldor branded coils.
BMW uses Champion as their supplier of spark plugs. Used NGK brand as more favored among mechanics.
As an OCD I always use a digital torque wrench to BMW specs since these engines are made of aluminum.

BMW - MINI COOPER.
Brake pad replacement
We do brake pad replacement and brake warning light delete for BMW-MINI with electronic parking brakes
We use original BMW brake rotors and TRW low dust brake pads. Replacement of brake pad sensor is a must as it is a one time use component.
Replacing the rear pads for modern BMW and Mini with an electronic parking brake (EPB) requires the use of a BMW obdII scanner to position the pistons in service mode to retract the pistons. Compressing the pistons without this procedure will damage the system.
Hologram free. This is the indicator if the paint correction was done properly. Just a uniform wet shine that can only be achieved from Rupes brand polishers and a real ceramic coating*. *if a ceramic coat is not in a glass container then it’s not a true ceramic coat.
Prices start at $250 to $300 depending on car size and location.

What is ceramic coating?
This shine took alot of work. You just don’t wipe on and off and call it a day. You cant do ceramic coat without preparing the paint for this final step.
This invisible coating actually protects the paint from bird droppings, paint fading, light scrathes and more.
Ceramic coating may seem like a scam since it’s quite expensive. If you think of the hours spent preparing the paint, it includes washing, polishing and paint correcting using expensive equipment and professional chemicals not sold in your local AutoZone.
I think it’s worth it to pamper your car once in a while.
