New You Surgical Weight Loss Named Event Sponsor for Darden Smith Benefit Concert Supporting ALIVE

St. Louis, MO — Break Room Concerts today announced that New You Surgical Weight Loss will serve as the Event Sponsor for the upcoming benefit concert featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Darden Smith. The intimate performance will take place Friday, April 24, 2026, with all proceeds supporting ALIVE (Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments), a nonprofit organization that provides critical services to individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse.

The special evening of music will be held at the Undivided Wealth Experience Center in Chesterfield, Missouri, with cocktail hour beginning at 7:00 p.m. and the performance starting at 8:00 p.m. (Breakroom Concerts)

The event is part of the Break Room Concerts series, which brings together music, philanthropy, and community support by hosting intimate performances that raise funds for important charitable causes. The April 24 concert will benefit ALIVE, which provides emergency sanctuary, counseling, and support services to survivors of domestic violence and their families. (linkedin.com)

The program is designed to go beyond short-term weight loss by helping patients use all the tools and resources they need to build sustainable habits, improve metabolic health, and strengthen their confidence, strengthen relationships. "Our mission is not just helping patients lose weight,” says Dr. Lange. “It’s helping them regain their health, their energy, and the ability to fully participate in the lives they want to live."

Through their sponsorship, New You Surgical Weight Loss is helping expand awareness and resources for ALIVE’s mission while supporting a memorable evening of live music.

Singer-songwriter Darden Smith, known for his thoughtful lyrics and intimate storytelling style, will headline the evening with a solo acoustic performance.

Last year, ALIVE provided support for over 20,000 calls to their 24-hour crisis line and and provided services like emergency shelter, counseling and court advocacy to nearly 2,000 individuals in our area.

Here’s what buying a ticket(s) to this show can mean for ALIVE

1 ticket for $50 will help shelter clients keep a pet with them 4 days
2 tickets for $100 will cover 1 hour therapy to a survivor or child
5 tickets for $250 will provide court advocacy to help secure order of protection

Our first show of the year with Darden Smith on Friday April 24th will benefit ALIVE right here in St. Louis.

Emergency transportation for DV survivors in immediate danger.
