Plot twists may come, uncertainty may rise,
but joy is the new rich.

Blessed.

Highly favored.

Thank you, Father.

That part, Cher.

No one.

Yet, I am stirring the pot slow. Wait for it...

It’s so important to love what you do and my diligent and focused parents made sure we knew the value of hard work early on.

Because on the other side? That’s where peace, play, and joy live.

It’s the only way I know how to move through life.

My summer trunk stays locked and loaded for poolside lounging, pickleball rallies, or a quick 9 holes all in and monogrammed fab, naturally.

And yes, there’s always a in hand, packed with crushed ice and a sugar-free to keep me cool and collected.

Joy is my vibe. Life is the party. Laughter’s always on tap. And even when I miss the mark... I still sparkle.

Living. Learning. And, Loving My Way.

The devil couldn’t take my summer—and neither could that tornado. It may have nearly destroyed everything around me, but it didn’t take my spirit, my grit, or my wit.

I’m still working. Still striving. Still thriving. Grateful to God for my work family—thank you for being my sanctuary, my stability, and often, my sanity. Who has time to stress when we’re busy lifting a whole generation? Our leadership so has us mission-centered and vision-focused:) Thank you, Father!

And in the in-between, there’s home. A city of a million moments. Thank you, New Orleans—for all my little 24 or 48 hours of pure joy, soulful food, beautiful music, and all that love. Always.

From the 314 to 504, I live the best of both worlds.

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the extraordinary gift and the joy of motherhood. Becoming a mother has transformed me into a stronger, more grounded version of myself. Through Your grace, my greatest career dreams have not only been imagined—they’ve been brought to life and fulfilled. The lifelong weight I carried, both physical and emotional, is being gently lifted. And the emptiness I once felt—the sense that something was missing—has been completely filled. This is the power of motherhood.

There is no title, accolade, buyout, bonus, degree, or achievement that compares to the honor of being Jean-Baptiste's mother. It is the greatest privilege of my life. I am truly blessed and highly favored. And for that, Lord, I thank You.

Amen.
