All offices of the St. Louis Arc are closed today, Friday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, Union Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas to announce General Order No. 3, declaring that all enslaved people in Texas were free—more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation had officially ended slavery in Confederate states. This day, now known as Juneteenth, has become a profound commemoration of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward justice.

GOOD NEWS!
Ariel's confidence and commitment to advocating for herself has opened new doors! She went from working part-time to full-time at TJ Maxx, and now she's moving into her own apartment for the first time. Great job, Ariel, on being courageous and determined to reach your goals!

This year's was one of the most successful and well-attended shows in recent history! There were more than 40 sponsors, 400+ cars, and by all accounts, 10,000 spectators!

The St. Louis Arc is incredibly honored to be the charitable partner for this annual event. Thank you to all of the Arc volunteers who came out early on a Sunday morning to direct traffic and guide participating vehicles to their spots.

In addition to this incredible day, the St. Louis Arc presented a well-deserved BRAVO award to our friends, Neil Westfall, Arman Džafić, and the St. Louis European Auto Show for their incredible partnership over the years. The District of St. Louis LIT Cigar Lounge STL Cars and Coffee St. Louis
