The Magic Chef Mansion will be open Saturday August 1, 2026 for self-guided tours from 2 to 5 pm. We are located at 3400 Russell St Louis, MO 63104. The mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen for Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for $49,500 and took about 1 year to build. This restored private home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement features the original bowling alley and saloon.
Adults $20, kids 6-12 $10 and kids under 6 are free.
You can pay at the front door on the day of the tour or pay in advance at Eventbrite.
Free parking on Russell.
