We’re proud to feature Saint Louis University in The Blue Whale Story! From the awe-inspiring 80-foot “Blue” to innovative research on microplastics right here at home, this exhibition brings ocean science to . We’re especially grateful for Dr. Potvin’s expertise, stop by the exhibition while he's here to connect with him and learn how his work is making a real-world impact!

SLU + “Blue” 🐋

Physics professor Jean Potvin, Ph.D., is serving as scientist in residence as part of the Saint Louis Science Center’s new traveling exhibition, “The Blue Whale Story.”

Featuring a life-sized replica of “Blue,” an 80-foot-long female blue whale skeleton, the exhibition offers a deeper understanding of these incredible animals and their impact on our oceans and even the St. Louis community.

Visit the Saint Louis Science Center to experience “The Blue Whale Story” and see SLU research in action. The exhibition is on view through January.
