🐍🎁 Meet the oldest toy in the Field House Museum collection! Dating to 1780, this fascinating "Snake in a Box" works much like a jack-in-the-box—the snake springs out when the lid is slid open, surprising unsuspecting visitors. 😲✨

Field’s wife, Julia Field, insisted that no one else illustrate the beloved collection, helping create one of the most memorable collaborations in children’s literature. ✨📖
