A proud Hogan family moment in Obetz! 🚛

Austin Pickens, one of the first drivers hired for our DT Marengo startup in January 2026, recently had the opportunity to park his truck alongside his father’s. Doug Pickens has been a Hogan car-hauler since 2023, and Austin has often shared how proud he is of the career his father has built here.

Now serving as a full trainer and onboarder at the Marengo site, Austin is building an impressive Hogan career of his own.

Our team recently partnered with Dollar General for a “Beat the Heat” event focused on keeping drivers safe, informed, and supported during the summer months. ☀️

The event included food, snacks, cold drinks, cooling towels, fleet walks, summer driving and workplace safety education, and plenty of time for relationship building. Our team also kept extra cases of water on hand for any drivers who needed to stock their trucks.

Thank you to everyone from Hogan and Dollar General who helped make the event such a great success. We look forward to continuing these events throughout the summer!

Our Marengo team recently held their Quarterly Site Meetings for our fleet of professional drivers, bringing together Operations and Safety for a day focused on connection, continued learning, and improvement.

During the meetings, the team celebrated a major safety milestone: no preventable DOT accidents since the account started in February 2026. They also discussed opportunities for continued site improvement and took the learning outside with a hands-on pre-trip inspection exercise. Drivers were challenged to inspect a truck and trailer with intentionally placed defects, helping sharpen the skills needed to identify potential issues before hitting the road.

A big thank you to our Safety Team for their continued partnership and support in making these meetings meaningful, engaging, and valuable for our drivers. At Hogan, safety is never about checking a box — it’s about working together, staying sharp, and keeping our teams moving forward.

Proud to partner with Goodwill Memphis on a dedicated fleet solution built around their needs.

As part of this new partnership, Hogan ordered spec-specific 28’ box trucks to support Goodwill’s transportation and retail network across the greater Memphis and Northern Mississippi markets. After delivery, our team partnered with Goodwill’s marketing team to redesign, print and install updated fleet branding across the units.

These trucks are now on the road helping move Goodwill’s mission forward — increasing awareness for their work, their community impact and The Excel Center, which provides free high school education for adults.

At Hogan, we believe strong partnerships start with listening. This project is a great example of how tailored solutions can support both operations and a larger mission.

Our team recently hosted a 2nd quarter site training with Cardinal Health in Columbus, OH—bringing drivers together from across the country to reconnect, learn, and grow.

The session covered key safety topics like DOT/OSHA updates, equipment inspections, and seasonal driving best practices, with plenty of engagement along the way.

Great conversations, strong participation, and a reminder of how valuable it is to come together—even in a 48-state operation where time face-to-face is rare. 👏

Congratulations to our Hogan drivers who recently represented us at the Missouri and Ohio State Truck Driving Championships!

These competitions bring together some of the best professional drivers in the industry and put their skills to the test through written exams, pre-trip inspections and challenging driving courses. To even qualify, drivers must maintain a preventable accident-free record for at least one year — a reflection of the strong safety standards they uphold every day.

We are proud to recognize our Ohio State Team: Blake S., John C., Thomas G., Ben O. and Kenneth D., who earned 3rd place in the Tanker Class.

We are also proud of our Missouri State Team: Josh H., Chris M., Bruce B., Lloyd W., Rudolfo Diaz R. and Destiny L. — Hogan’s first woman participant in the Missouri competition.

From million-mile safe drivers to longtime team members and first-time competitors, this group represents the very best of Hogan: safety, professionalism, pride and commitment to excellence.
