Codie Aljets dropped this line like it was nothing, but it applies way beyond the shop. Most mistakes aren't permanent. You can go back to the drawing board, rethink it, and try again. Codie lives by that mindset with his art. If a piece doesn't come together the way he saw it in his head, he cuts it apart and starts over.

But he's also real about the other side of it. Time is money and you can't restart forever. So he's constantly balancing that creative freedom with the strategy of running a business.

Before Codie Aljets was sculpting some of the most detailed metal art you'll ever see, he was in the kitchen crafting intricate 3D birthday cakes for fun. He always had the creative, artistic side to him, but making those cakes is what made him realize he had a knack for detail, proportion, and seeing an entire project come together in his mind before ever picking up a blowtorch.
