Found out today that Steve Williams died in a car wreck yesterday. I only hung out with him twice. I think, plus a couple of phone calls to discuss this rework military tattoo for him.
He was a real nice guy. F***s me up when anyone I have known dies but hits extra hard when its someone I tattooed on. This tattoo was a bitch to rework as it was washed out and a lot of it was guesswork on my part. I believe the date is his daughters birthday.
I have had several people that I know die that carried my artwork and its a strange feeling.
I didnt really know you but you made an impression on me and it was a pleasure bringing that military piece back to life. RIP Steve.
