When Sarah welcomed baby Emma, she thought she would have a partner by her side. Instead, she found herself alone just weeks after giving birth, struggling to afford basic needs while caring for a newborn. The stress, uncertainty, and isolation felt overwhelming.

Through Nurses for Newborns, Sarah found more than support, she found someone who believed in her. Her community health worker helped her access emergency financial assistance, connect to resources, and take steps toward stability for herself and Emma. With encouragement and guidance, Sarah eventually secured a stable job and began rebuilding her life.

Today, Emma is thriving, and Sarah is creating the future she once feared was out of reach. πŸ’™

As National Nurses Month comes to an end, we want to say thank you to nurses everywhere. πŸ’™

At Nurses for Newborns, nurses are at the forefront of everything we do. Every family we support, every baby we care for, and every life we impact starts with the compassion and dedication of a nurse.

Thank you for all you do. 🩺

School is out, but hunger does not take a summer break.

Right now, our greatest need is shelf stable food for the families we serve. With kids home for the summer, many parents are stretching already tight grocery budgets even further.

Helping us stock shelves means helping families have one less thing to worry about.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

In observance of Memorial Day, the Nurses for Newborns office is closed today. While our office is closed, clients can still reach out to their nurse or care team for support if needed.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect with gratitude on the sacrifices made for our freedoms. πŸ’™
