Life is too short to drive a boring car.
From left to right
1978 MGB (mild cam, suspension upgrades)
1968 MGB (hot cam, dcoe weber, patina for days)
1935 Morgan F2 (race history, 1172cc w/ohv)

One of our customers is now the proud owner of this lovely 1935 Morgan F2 three wheeler. This car has race history dating back to the late 30s, and recently, it has been in many vintage race events here in the States. It even spent some time living and racing on the Isle of Man.
She has a few bugs, runs poorly, hard to start, old tires, non-functioning lights, and oil leaks. Typical vintage car stuff.
She'll be in the shop soon to get sorted.

Took a short break from the cars today to view a celestial magic trick. Some arc welding shades helped us to watch the moon block out the sun.

No doors and No floors for the fire rescue Defender 90.
Adam is ten feet tall today, prepping the roof/hood for polishing. The sun has not been kind to the top of this defender, but it will clean up.

This former UK Fire Rescue Defender 90 is in for paint and polishing work.
We have the new doors and hinges fitted and adjusted to our liking. They will be sanded and repainted in the proper single stage "Fire" red. This is the same level of painting as OEM.
The remaining panels will have a light polishing to remove oxidation and bring the color back. Factory Land Rover Defender paint wasn't very thick, so wet sanding and removing every scratch would be impossible without us also sanding or polishing off all the paint around the imperfections.
We will be working some of the bigger dents out via PDR methods and also applying a ceramic coating to help keep the shine and save the paint from further damage.

The Defender 110 Cummins swap project is moving along.
We finished up making and welding panels in for the modified firewall. We also had the fun task of removing more sticky gooey undercoating from areas. We also did finish welding on the motor mount perches.

The engine is out of "Sh*tty" and on a cart. The old girl was really in there. She fought us for every inch.
Next is pulling the gearbox off and getting it on a bench for disassembly and inspection.
The engine will also be mounted to a stand for disassembly and repairs. We suspect the water cooled center main to be our leak.

It's been far too long since last we posted to the Gram. It's good to be back.
Christian working hard on pulling the engine and gearbox out of the Riley Nine special known as "Sh*tty Sh*try Bang Bang" the engine is mixing water and oil and the gearbox can't decide if it has 1st and 2nd or if it has 3rd and 4th.
More updates to come.
