We do our best to get outside whenever we can, and this weekend some of our CASCO families went camping together! 🏕️🔥🌳

The planning, the packing, getting everyone out the door—it’s a lot! We know! But once you’re there, it’s so worth it.

We love watching the way these kids take care of each other. Big kids, little kids, everyone looking out for someone.

Mixed-age learning for the win. 💚

Think favorably of others and their actions. I love that reminder!

Kids want to learn. They want to do well. Even when a child’s actions leave us scratching our heads, we can pause and ask, “What’s going on here? What are they trying to tell us?”

And while we’re figuring it out, let’s look for the good, too. The kindness toward a friend. The effort we might have missed. The tiny bit of bravery it took to ask for help.

Notice it. Tell them you noticed. 💛

Children learn through experience. We know this! It’s why we say learning happens everywhere—at school, at home, at the park, with friends, and through new freedoms.

This year, our oldest CASCO learners are earning off-campus privileges! The trust has been built, the conversations are happening, and they know that with greater freedom comes greater responsibility.

We’ll learn as we go, stay close, and give them room to discover just how capable they are!
