Bridge Bread is a unique and successful social enterprise built on 3 key factors:
1) 75¢ out of every dollar generated from the sales of Bridge Bread goes to workers' compensation.
2) Because bread is a consumable, customers keep coming back week after week to buy more bread.
3) Bread Baking is a valuable trade skill that provides a sustainable source of income for homeless and out-of-work

A day, where Saint Louisans reach down and donate to their favorite non-profit organizations. We are experimenting with our Artisan Sourdough loaves at Bridge Bread - The Loop (616 N. Skinker Blvd 63130). We made Garlic Sourdough and Onion Sourdough with the savory inclusions in the dough. What do you think? Should this be a product for us? The volunteers at The Loop tried them and liked them - a lot!

We have starter for sale! Available at Bridge Bread - The Loop 616 N. Skinker 63130. We are open 7:30 am - 2 pm Wednesday - Friday and 9 am - 2 pm Saturday. $9 for over 2 ounces of dehydrated starter.
Look at the great loaf my granddaughter Sadie made with this starter. We didn't use any equipment except a bowl, spoon, and oven. Okay, we used our hands a lot! Fun!
