Robotics became a meaningful part of PASCO’s work because it helped customers run faster and more consistently.
Improving end-of-line performance often removes a major constraint on the rest of the line, which opens the door for bigger efficiency gains across the facility.
That shift shaped a lot of the systems we build today, and it is still moving forward after 50 years.
One of the things that sets PASCO apart, and has for 50 years, is that we are not only a system integrator. We are also a manufacturer.
Building most critical components in-house keeps engineering tied to manufacturing, keeps quality in our hands and keeps systems serviceable long after install.
It means that when challenges arise, we have the capability to respond directly and stand behind the solution.
2026 marks 50 years of PASCO.
It began in 1976 with two engineers solving a heavy material handling challenge. They designed a hydraulic palletizing machine that immediately improved safety and efficiency on the production floor.
That problem solving mindset became the DNA of the company.
Five decades later, it still defines how we work.

Title: Pasco Systems Corp. Acquires Assets of Versatech Holdings, LLC to Expand Automation Machinery Offerings
Pasco Systems Corp., a leading manufacturer of automation machinery under the PASCO® brand, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Versatech Holdings, LLC, a company based in Effingham, IL. This acquisition will allow Pasco Systems to expand its product offerings and strengthen its position in the automation industry.
The acquisition of Versatech will bring significant benefits to both companies. Nearly all Versatech employees will be retained, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of operations. The business will continue to operate in its present facility in Effingham, providing stability for both employees and customers. Versatech will operate as a division of Pasco Systems, leveraging the strengths and resources of both companies.
“This acquisition demonstrates our optimistic view of the future of robotic automation in an ever-expanding array of industrial applications,” said Jim Nardulli, Chief Operating Officer of Pasco Systems. “The creative robotic solutions that Versatech has excelled in implementing since 2009 are complementary to the PASCO range of solutions. This acquisition extends our reach upstream in packaging and at the same time brings us into the manufacturing process with solutions for assembly, tending, inspection, and more.”
“Starting immediately, it will be business as usual for Versatech employees and customers,” said Nate Mahoney, Chief Financial Officer of Pasco Systems. “We saw the value that Versatech would engender as an integral part of our company and a sister brand to PASCO. The combined operations will strengthen our capacity to provide meaningful benefits through automation to all our customers.”
Customers of both Pasco Systems and Versatech can expect a seamless transition with no disruption to ongoing projects. The combined expertise and capabilities of the two companies will result in greater innovation and a broader range of products and services for customers.

PASCO hosted approximately 40 2nd graders from the Rockwood School district enrolled in the Center for Creative Learning (CCL) program, where they were given a front-row experience to the wonders and capabilities of process automation featuring FANUC America Corporation robots. We were proud to host such young, gifted minds and expose them to high quality, heavy-duty manufacturing. It was a great visit and we hope to have more up-and-coming stars in the future! Thanks to John Hopson, Wh**ey O'Dell, Sandy Elfrink, Sherri Hensley and the entire team at PASCO for making this such an impactful (and googly-eye opening!) event.
