Metaphorical RJ
Poetry is my conversation with God.
yo, it’s your girl metaphorical 🖤
and I’m so excited to introduce one of our featured voices for The Postpartum Poet…
✍🏾🔥
an amazing mother of two beautiful babies,
you may know her from “A Single Mother’s Freestyle”
a piece that didn’t just go viral… it validated so many women.
a poet who doesn’t just write… she bleeds truth onto the page.
her words carry weight, softness, and that kind of honesty you can’t fake.
this is for the women healing
the mothers finding themselves again
the ones doing it all… even when nobody sees them.
she’s stepping onto the Postpartum Poet stage not just to perform
but to shift the room.
tap in, feel it, and witness it live.

🎵:
What Postpartum Poet means to me…
is taking black words on white paper
and allowing them to come to life.
Whether it’s through dance like ,
through spoken word like ,
through painting and murals like ,
through photography and videography, like
or through hip hop and rap, like …
we all find a way to express what postpartum really is
through art.
This is an old video
recorded in the middle of my anxiety,
my pain,
my suffering.
So this isn’t just a brand.
This isn’t just something pretty to look at.
Postpartum Poet is a movement.
For mothers.
For healing.
For truth.
And I gotta give love to the musicians who hold me down every time
, , ,
for being the sound behind the story.
